Jacob – Supplanter to Israel Part 2

Jacob, the deceiver and supplanter, became Israel, May God Prevail for Him – A Prince with God. No longer a man of subtlety and craftiness.

As he emerged Jacob was grabbing his heel as if he was trying to pull him back into the womb. Hence his name, Jacob meaning supplanter.

Because of the trials Joseph endured, God brought him before Pharaoh to interpret the dreams that were haunting him.

There is hope for the broken vessels. God promises and tells his people throughout His word that His broken vessels are important to Him:
