Today, I want to dive deep into something that resonates at the very core of our existence. Let’s explore our identity as children of God. In a world often fraught with uncertainty and chaos, there’s an undeniable comfort in knowing who we are and where we belong. And oh boy, do we belong–as children of the Most High, no less!
Let’s kick things off by looking at the words of John 1:12, shall we? “Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” Talk about a game-changer! These words serve as a beacon of hope, illuminating our path and reminding us of our true identity.
But what does it mean to be Children of God?
It’s more than just a theological concept or a religious doctrine. It’s a deeply personal reality that has the power to shape our lives in profound ways. When we accept Jesus into our hearts and believe in His name, He redeems us and forgives us. And, He welcomes us into the family of God as His beloved children.
