The focus of Jesus Is, is to discover who Jesus Christ is to us and learning to see Him as these things in our lives. It’s a study of His character. In ancient times, names denoted character.
I have by no means even scratched the surface of who Jesus Is to us with these few pages, but I believe it is a good start down the path of seeing the face of and knowing the true character of our God!
Jesus Is
The focus of Jesus Is is to help us discover who Jesus Christ truly is. Not just in theory or theology, but in a deeply personal and life-changing way. This journey is about more than knowing facts about Him. It’s about seeing Him at work in our own lives. Learning to recognize His presence and understanding His heart for us.
In ancient times, names carried weight. A name spoke of a person’s character, nature, and even their destiny. Throughout Scripture, we see Jesus called by many names. Each one revealing a unique aspect of who He is. He os a Savior, Shepherd, Healer, Prince of Peace, Friend, Redeemer, and so many more. Each of these names is an invitation to know Him more intimately and to experience Him in that way.
The pages of this study are not meant to be an exhaustive explanation of who Jesus is—we could never contain the fullness of His glory and character in one book. But this is a beginning. It’s a doorway into a deeper relationship with the One who knows us fully and loves us completely.
My hope is that as you move through this devotional, you’ll begin to see Jesus not just as a distant figure in history, but as a living, present Savior who is deeply involved in the details of your life. That you’ll begin to call on Him by name—not out of ritual, but from a place of trust and relationship. That you’ll not only know about Him, but know Him.
This is just the start of a beautiful journey. May these pages help you to see the face of Jesus more clearly and come to know the true character of our God in a way that transforms your life from the inside out.
